Press Release: Nové to Hold Grand Opening on June 26 to Celebrate One-Year Anniversary
June 21, 2021 (Cape Cod, MA) – On Saturday, June 26, 4-8 pm, Nové will hold a grand opening to celebrate all it has achieved since Jitka Borowick started the business one year ago.
“This is the celebration we always wanted to have until the pandemic had other plans,” said Borowick, who lives in Barnstable. “With the lifting of Covid restrictions, we can finally invite the public to tour our studio, learn about our offerings, connect with others in the community, and take meaningful steps to achieving their health and wellness goals.”
The grand opening will feature a DJ and free tastings of Czech wine provided by Wills International, as well as giveaways, including Nové merchandise and wine glasses, to the first 20 people who attend. Nové will also be unveiling its new line of merchandise and all items in its store will be 30 percent off. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a special cake to mark the occasion.
Nové is located at 581 Main Street in West Dennis next to Three Fins Coffee. Nové is the Czech word for new and the studio’s goal is to make people feel new every day so they are prepared to tackle the big and little challenges in life.
Borowick, who is originally from the Czech Republic, had originally planned to open Nové in April 2020. The opening was delayed due to the pandemic with the studio initially offering a mix of prerecorded and live classes online last June. In July, Nové began holding outdoor yoga classes at the Dennis Village Green Bandstand on Route 6A. A few weeks later, the indoor space opened for classes though it was limited in size due to Covid restrictions.
“The past year has shined a bright light on how important health is to each of us,” said Borowick “Next Saturday, we invite the public to see our space and how they can easily embrace a healthier lifestyle with teachers that inspire our students to greater heights every day.”
“I have truly enjoyed being a part of the Nové family and connecting our students to the benefits that come with practicing yoga,” said instructor Terry Walsh of Harwich. “Through yoga and mindfulness, Nové is teaching everyone how to properly release their physical and emotional tension, allowing them to be their best self.”
Along with Walsh, Nové’s staff includes: Rebecca Tadema-Wielandt of Harwich; Manny Marrero of Yarmouth; Jen Myette of Centerville; Jennifra Norton of Harwich; Dilyana Stoeva of Harwich; Susannah and André van der Wende of Orleans; Molly Pelletier of Sandwich; Jess Ripa of Harwich; and Jane Costello of Chatham.
Nové’s offerings include yoga, meditation, mindfulness, strength and stretching classes, and nutrition workshops. The studio gears some of its classes to athletes, giving them strategies to train smarter and to enhance their recovery. People can take classes both in the studio and off-site, wherever they may be, using their smartphone, tablet, or television at www.noveyoga.com.
